IQAIR PRODUCT PAGE REDESIGN

IQAir, a leading air quality technology company, initiated an extensive revamp of its product pages in a strategic effort to elevate the overall user interface and experience, ultimately aiming to enrich the process of purchasing. The pivotal goal of this endeavor was to streamline the presentation of information, emphasizing an intuitive, mobile-centric design for optimal accessibility.

ROLE: Redesigned the product pages, which encompasses wireframes, interfaces, graphics, and overall user experience. Improved the product page to optimize the user experience across all devices.

PROJECT DURATION:  June 2021 - January 2022

 
 
 

1. Gathering insights

  • Consolidate the cart and product detail page into a unified interface.

  • Streamline the process to minimize clicks required for adding products to the cart.

  • Include features for selecting product variations directly on the product page.

  • Provide access to comprehensive product information, including images of different variants.

  • Ensure the 'Buy Now' call-to-action is consistently available.

  • Display product availability status or an option to 'join the waitlist' prominently at all times.

  • Enable clickable options for monthly payment plans.

  • All the above features should be integrated within a single compartment.

 

2. Wireframing the solutions

Based on the identified goal, I focused on addressing these challenges by developing potential solutions.

3. Developing the designs

I created designs using Adobe XD and collaborated with engineers to validate and obtain the HTML and CSS code. Working closely with the Front End team, I ensured that any necessary interactions not specified in the designs were incorporated. I conducted thorough reviews of each front-end update to ensure alignment with the approved designs prior to deployment.

4. results and takeaways

Following the implementation of the latest update to the product page and purchase process, we have observed a notable decrease in the need for purchasing assistance. Additionally, users have provided positive feedback regarding the streamlined navigation, which has significantly reduced the time spent on the site.
